Cuisines We Teach

We teach food from around the world. For each menu, we work with a food partner who is personally familiar with that cuisine.

We are always looking for more food partners. Contact us if you're interested!

Ethiopian

This Habesha menu, brought to us by our food partner, Beth, includes spicy miser wat (lentil stew) flavorful gomen (greens) and key sir (beets) stir fried with ginger. Served with injera (flatbread) to soak up the goodness.  This menu is vegan and gluten free.

Salvadorian

This menu is centered around pupusas, the national dish of El Salvador. These thick, handmade corn tortillas are warm, hearty and flavorful.  Ours use a traditional bean and cheese filling, and are served with a tangy pickled cabbage topping (curtido) and a zesty homemade salsa.

Brazilian

This menu from São Sebastião was shared by our food partner, Alma. It includes a creamy chicken strogonoff,  eaten with rice and potato sticks and the ever popular pão de queijo (cheese bread). We'll also make a decadent, chocolate dessert, brigadeiro.
